About the project

Joseph, a devoted husband and father, is shattered by the unexpected death of his wife, Camille. As he grapples with overwhelming grief, he finds solace in routine and the daily rituals that remind him of her presence. Struggling to connect with their daughter Maya, who also mourns her mother, Joseph attempts to maintain a facade of strength while feeling lost in a world that no longer feels familiar. Their interactions are tender yet filled with the unspoken weight of their shared loss. The stakes heighten as Joseph and Maya decide to revisit their church, a place filled with memories of Camille. Here, they encounter Pastor Reggie, who encourages them to express their grief and reconnect with their faith. However, the silence that looms over them only deepens as Joseph confronts his doubts about God and questions the reason behind his wife’s death. The safe space of the church becomes a crucible for Joseph as he wrestles with unresolved emotions, and the fear of moving on without Camille begins to suffocate him. As the emotional turmoil escalates, Joseph's journey takes a pivotal turn when he is faced with a choice: to remain trapped in his grief or to begin the painful process of healing. The climax builds as he must confront not only his wife's absence but also the silence that has enveloped him, pushing him to seek the answers he desperately needs. The morning after this confrontation holds the potential for transformation, but Joseph must first confront the depths of his sorrow and the hope that awaits him on the other side.
