Eastside Love
Logline
A charismatic Oklahoma City tour guide who coasts on charm and casual flings is thrown off balance when he falls for a sharp, no-nonsense food truck owner and must prove he's more than talk if he wants a real shot at love.
Synopsis
Eastside Love is a warm, funny, community-rooted romantic dramedy set in Oklahoma City's Eastside, where Dominique “Dom” is a local personality everybody knows: a smooth-talking tour guide, serial dater, and born entertainer who can sell anyone on the city he loves—just not on his ability to grow up. Constantly called out by his wise father and blunt mother for confusing charisma with character, Dom glides through life until a neighborhood block party introduces him to Toni, a driven single mother and food truck owner who instantly sees through his game. Unlike the women Dom is used to charming, Toni demands substance, not swagger. As Dom becomes drawn to her ambition, her independence, and the life she's building for her son, he's forced to confront the gap between the image he's perfected and the man he actually is when no one's watching. With humor, heart, and rich Eastside flavor, the story explores love, maturity, family pressure, and what it really takes for a man to earn respect—and maybe finally keep one woman's heart.
