Getting Started

What is Text to Audio?
Text to Audio turns scripts and books into AI-narrated audio. It supports multiple voices and multi-character scripts, so different characters can have different voices.
Is it free?
You can generate audio using Producers Credit. Downloading the finished MP3 is a paid feature.

Voices

How many voices are there?
Multiple AI voices are available, and you can assign a voice per character so a multi-character script sounds like a cast rather than one narrator.
Can I use it for audiobooks?
Yes. You can narrate long-form text like books, not just scripts, and generate an AI cover to go with the audio.

Creating

How do I make an audio?
Add or paste your text (or import a script), assign voices, and generate. Cost is based on the length of the text, and you can resume playback later.

Credits

What does it cost to generate?
Generation spends Producers Credit based on how much text you narrate. When your balance is too low to cover a job you’ll be asked to subscribe; existing audios stay available to play.

Download

Can I download the audio?
Playing audio is available to everyone, but downloading the MP3 is a paid feature. A paid plan unlocks download and export.

Import

Can I import a script from Writers Room?
Yes — on a paid plan you can import a script from Writers Room to narrate, if an admin has that connection enabled.
